I am an underwater explorer and cinematographer that has been filming for the past 44 years. I have been on many adventures with many different characters including the famous Jacques Cousteau, of whom I filmed and worked with for 12 years. I enjoy filming very large animals such as Great White Sharks, Humpback Whales, and even Crocodiles, but I also enjoy spending time with Nemo in his anemone!
Diving with 50 Orcas in Norway
After a 4000 kms road trip from France to Norway, Didier Noirot meets friends in Skjervoy. From there they start a voyage on a sailboat through the fjords to look for orcas and whales feeding on herrings. Beautiful scenics and amazing underwater pictures. Watch until the end !...

In this adventure, I go diving with massive crocodiles (weighing over 1500lbs) in the swamps of the Okavango Delta. This was by far one of the most intense and scary dives that I've ever had the opportunity to do. Roger and I were terrified of being eaten by one of these monsters!

The story of the capelin fish that lay their eggs underwater or on the beaches of Newfoundland, Canada, before dying. Humpback whales feed on these fish massively before starting a long journey to the Dominican Republic. Didier Noirot has observed their spawning for several years. Didier used a Red Epic camera 6 K to capture this extraordinary event.

Cool. From the charter company's website, I found that the sailboat is a Bavaria 44. Orcas. My kinda whales. Beautiful creatures. Smart and apparently friendly (toward humans). The first part of the trip looks like humpback whales? Anyway, it wasn't clear from the video, but I imagine the 50 orca dive happened toward the end, so as to film the orcas feasting on the fish from the trawler.
What an amazing sight, orca and whales, both are on my bucket list to see. Beautiful scenes, wow, so many in one spot fishing all together😊

20 years ago, after he swam 900 miles from Iceland, Keiko the orca dolphin from Free Willy was actually among these groups too. He was often swimming out to hunt between staying in a Norwegian fjord. He first followed a fishing traweler there, since before he was captured Keiko had already learned from his mother that fishing boats mean easier herring to eat than just hunting. All Icelandic orca dolphins do this today. Within an instant, thousands of years of tradition changed!

I was so frightened to see the orcas arrive I thought they were going to hunt the calf but no they were feeding alongside each other. Amazing. We need to protect our ocean inhabitants at all costs. Wildlife before profit!❤

Boats are machines and birds are theropod dinosaurs. But the fish are the oldest of the lot.
You are only alive still because the orcas have allowed you to be. Very humbling experience
